Our Gang

ECS Gemini
"Gemini"Now a 20 year old American Paint. He came to the farm at around 6 months old and has been here since. Due to injuries, his training stopped and he was a pasture ornament for many years. He now enjoys many different activities such as barrels, poles, and trail rides.

Sugar Land
"Sugar"This was Sugar when we bought her at an auction. Extremely under weight, ribs, top-line, and hips protruding and really no energy or desire. She was in tough shape.

Sugar Land
"Sugar"This is Sugar now after having been on a good feed and some exercise. She has been DNA tested as part quarter horse and part rocky mountain. She is gaited, and is now registered with the American Palomino Horse Breeders Association. She really loves to go and will move out under the saddle.

Split The Deck
"Shuffle"A registered thoroughbred that has spent time at the track but never raced. She had very little training when she came to us and is now enjoying a career running barrels. We are still working on her ground manners and respecting personal space.

Splitting Tens
"Diamond"Diamond is in the background of this picture. She is also Shuffle's (foreground) mother. She just recently came to us and these two were so happy to be reunited. We are still working out exactly what she wants to do, but is showing some promise at jumping. She is a former race horse as well as broodmare.

Apple Jack
"Apple"Apple came to us from an auction as a barrel pony. After seeing how hot he became when running and how hard it was to cool him back down, Natalie worked with him to find a new job. He is doing well jumping and has placed in a couple of events. He was DNA tested as part Appaloosa and part Ponies of America.

Apple Jack
"Apple"Another view of Apple at another one of his events. So far he has a first and a second in two different shows.

TwistersRainOfThunder
"Twister"Twister is an APHA blue roan filly. She is currently a yearling so has not had any real training yet. She does load, stand for the farrier, and leads well. Natalie has sat on her and had the saddle on her for very brief amounts of time and she handles it all well. We are waiting for her to have another year or so to grow before really starting her.
