New Hope Farm Rescue and Ministry
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit" Mathew 28:19
This is the primary purpose of New Hope Farm Rescue and Ministry, to spread the Word of the Gospel of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
This is the primary purpose of New Hope Farm Rescue and Ministry, to spread the Word of the Gospel of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
We do this through our rescue and Life Groups, where we bring people together to study His Word, share lessons together, and share testimonies.
We also recognize that God has challenged us to care for His creation.
"The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel" Proverbs 12:10
"Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds." Proverbs 27:23
"He provides food for the cattle, and for the young ravens when they call." Psalm 147:9
Our second focus at New Hope Farm is the Rescue part. We take horses that have been abused, or neglected and do our best to bring them back to health. However, that is only part of it. Bringing them back to TRUST is the hard part. To be able to trust a human again and be a trusting friend to a caring person.
We combine these two efforts together, for just as we ask a horse to trust us, to follow us, to be a partner with us, God is asking the same of us. To trust Him, His guidance, for Him to be Lord of us. Our Life Group members have a very hands-on lesson in combination with these horses.

We do not take on this mission blindly, experience tells us takes take blood, sweat, tears, and money to make it happen for our horse friends. We do have experience in bringing rescuing horses and what it takes, financially, spiritually, and emotionally.
In order to support our ministry, we offer various fundraising events. Our Steel Building sales also goes to support the ministry's efforts at least in part. Keep your eyes on this page, and will also post on facebook, in the very near future we will offer:

Sugar Land
Our most recent success story is Sugar. We got her through an auction, and you can see from the first picture she was extremely under weight, her hair was matted and we worried that she would make the 6-hour ride to our farm. The picture on the right is after several months of good feed, exercise, and love. To God's glory she is happy and loves being ridden again!
